A weekend away and some sad news.

Good day Folks, how are you all, it's lashing down with rain here so thought I'd spend a bit of time on the 'puter and update you with the news!

Mum and Dad went away last weekend for a birthday party in the Cotswolds. For those of you who don't know the family, Mum has six cousins, the eldest of whom is Bob. As Bob was 60 last weekend, his wife Lynne organised a weekend away for all the family to get together. She booked this place called Wellacre House near Moreton-in-Marsh. It is a HUGE house with 7 bedrooms and a huge kitchen and a table seating 16.

Here they all are on the steps........

On the Saturday night they had caterers in to cook a three course meal, so as it was a special occasion, they all dressed for dinner........................................

They scrub up well, don't they?
Now Bob is very keen on sailing, some of you may have seen his yacht Jabberwocky in the farmyard, where he stores it in the winter months, hence the very apt cake!

Nice isn't it? Their little dog Max went too, we weren't allowed!

Still we had more fun playing Jason up, hee, hee.............................
While they were there, they went to see this little tower that Mum says was built as a folly, what's a folly? Looks like a little castle to me!

Then Mum and Dad went to Warwick Castle. Mum's been there before but Dad hadn't. She knew he'd like it. Here's a horse in full armour, must have been very heavy in those days.......................

This one's funny, well Dad thinks so!

Be careful with that thing Mr. Davies...........................................

Don't quite like the way he's standing with it either, Mum thinks it's hilarious!
Finally the man with a castle on his head hee, hee.......................................

Well that's all from the weekend, but on a sadder note poor Bear was booked in to see Mr. V.E.T on Monday as she was going to have some more mammary tumours removed. However when they put her under and took an x ray, they found it had spread into her chest and they couldn't operate, so Dad bought her home. She is still feeling ok at the moment though, eating well and going on all the dogruns so they are going to see how it goes.
Anyway, that's all the news for now, catch you later!
Waj x

You never told us you had Robbie Williams in the family!
He's looking very comfortable with your mom and all the cousins stood at the back in the photos! My mom will be very jealous and very upset you haven't told us before you and your mom are related to him!!!
Love,
